Apart from the front camera washer button, the update is anticipated to introduce a Shaka media player and an enhanced ability to adjust playback speed in Apple Podcasts, among other undisclosed features.
A Look at the New Features
The front camera washer button is expected to debut before the Cybertruck’s launch next week. This electric pickup is expected to incorporate the front camera. However, there has been some ambiguity regarding whether the refreshed Model 3, dubbed “Highland,” would include the front fascia camera, as Tesla originally posted photos of the vehicle featuring the new camera. However, initial deliveries of the updated Model 3 have excluded the camera, leading Tesla to remove it from all images.
Speaking about the playback speed update for Apple Podcasts, Green has revealed that the associated file is aptly named apple_podcasts, confirming that the feature is specifically designed for Apple Podcasts.

According to Teslascope, the 2023.44.1 software update was first observed in some cars on Friday, and it’s currently just beginning to roll out to vehicles. However, detailed release notes are not yet available at the time of writing.
